Welcome to CodeRancher.US. This is the very first post of this new coding site. Here I hope to share my coding projects, opinions, and information on various facets of programming. The site will focus on helping noobs and novice as well as providing information on more advanced topics.
For myself, programming is part craft, part art, and part engineering. We’ve all seen code and thought “Wow! That’s a work of art”, and we have all seen code and thought “Oh! that is garbage”. But what makes one piece of code more pleasing than another? What makes one piece of code more efficient than another? Should a developer code for readability or efficiency? I hope to touch on all these topics and more here on the ranch.
Stay tuned, this is only the first step on a never-ending journey.
